HUNTINGTON BEACH
The California Coastal Conservancy has agreed to grant the city’s funding request to install beach access at Seapoint Street and Pacific Coast Highway. The project consists of building stairs and a handicapped access ramp so pedestrians can reach the beach safely at the intersection.
City staff members have been working with the conservancy for more than a year to get the grant funded. City transportation funds will be matched with this grant to complete the $88,000 project.
