Calabasas Mayor to Give State of City Speech
The mayor will deliver a state of the city address in a televised event featuring live call-in questions Thursday.
Mayor James Bozajian will make his speech at City Hall at 6 p.m. It will be Calabasas’ first state of the city address since the city incorporated in 1991.
“We felt we had some accomplishments to show the community,” Bozajian said. “It will be very informative for anyone who wants to learn about the city. We will make it very informal, more like a town meeting.”
Bozajian’s speech will be transmitted on CTV, the city’s public access channel, and the mayor will take questions from the City Hall audience and viewers at home. Before the speech, residents may also attend a Chamber of Commerce mixer with food and refreshments at City Hall, 26135 W. Mureau Road, at 5:30 p.m. For more information, call the city at (818) 878-4225 or the chamber at (818) 222-5680.
