Microsoft Trial

Your Jan. 11 editorial, “Open Windows,” recommends sanctions against Microsoft based on hearing the government’s side of the antitrust case and quotes from the head of the AOL/Netscape/Sun consortium that has the most to gain from any evisceration of Microsoft.

If this is an example of The Times’ fairness, I’ll be interested to hear your endorsement of Bill Clinton’s conviction, which, by my determination, should appear the morning after Rep. Henry Hyde finishes presenting his case to the Senate.
