Lathrop Intermediate School, 1111 S. Broadway, will hold its 75th anniversary celebration Monday, starting at 12:30 p.m. There will be a reenactment of the walk made by students and teachers on Jan. 25, 1924, from Willard Intermediate School, where interim classes had been held, to the Lathrop site. Expected to attend are Orange County Supervisor Charles V. Smith and Santa Ana City Council members Patricia A. McGuigan and Brett Franklin. Guest speakers include schools Supt. Al Mijares.
