SEASON AT A GLANCE: The 6-foot-4 Arenas, who signed early with Arizona, has scored 40 or more points in seven games and is averaging 36.3 points and 7.5 rebounds. Once primarily known for his three-point shooting, he has improved as an inside scorer and offensive rebounder.

WEEK AT A GLANCE: Against Poly, Arenas had 42 points, 15 rebounds and seven assists. Against Reseda, he had 47 points, 10 rebounds and 10 steals. His dominating play helped Grant remain tied for first place in the East Valley League.

Jenielee Greslie

SCHOOL: Village Christian

YEAR: Senior

SPORT: Basketball

SEASON AT A GLANCE: The four-year varsity player is on pace to break the school season scoring record of 21.3. Greslie is averaging 21.7 points and a team-high 13.4 rebounds for Village Christian, which plays Paraclete next week for the Alpha League championship.

WEEK AT A GLANCE: The 5-foot-10 forward averaged 30.3 points and 12.3 rebounds in victories over St. Anthony, L.A. Baptist and La Reina. On Friday, Greslie made 17 consecutive free throws on her way to a school-record 37 points in a 50-33 nonleague victory over Tri-Valley League leader La Reina.
