BUENA PARK
Centralia School District teachers learned recently that they have received grants totaling $9,600 for art and music projects from the Disneyland Arts Partnership Program. Fourteen teachers and two administrators will receive grants that range from $200 to $1,000. Among the projects planned are programs to teach students about America’s cultural dances and songs, and exploring cultures through fairy tales, folk tales and legends.
