The Orange County Zodiac will host the Colorado Rapids of the MLS in an exhibition game at 7 p.m. Feb. 20 at Trabuco Hills High.
The Rapids feature U.S. National team standout Marcelo Balboa, a veteran of the 1990, ’94 and ’98 World Cups. Proceeds from the game will benefit the Mission Viejo Soccer Foundation’s college scholarship fund.
The Zodiac, which opens training camp Monday at Irvine Valley College, recently signed Rich Breza, who played for the Anaheim Splash and UC Irvine. He is the boys’ soccer coach at Irvine High.
