Uncle Miltie’s Wives

In last Saturday’s article on Milton Berle (“Uncle Miltie’s Comedy Class”), Paul Brownfield stated that Berle lives with his second wife, Lorna. This is incorrect. Lorna represents his third wife and fourth marriage.

Berle was married to showgirl Joyce Matthews twice and twice they were divorced. Years later he married his late wife Ruth and later married his current wife.
