San Jose Overpowers Lancaster, 5-3
Mike Glendenning and Tim Flaherty hit back-to-back home runs in the third inning off Neil Longo on Friday night to help San Jose to a 5-3 victory over Lancaster in front of 3,367 at the Hangar.
Glendenning’s two-run shot gave the Giants (62-44, 23-12 in the second half) a 3-1 lead. He has 23 home runs and Flaherty has 19.
Wilfredo Quintana hit a home run and a triple, and Harvey Hargrove hit a home run for the JetHawks (35-70, 12-23).
