Lake Davis Pike
* Regarding the reappearance of northern pike in Lake Davis (May 28), where, I am happy to say, I have camped and fished, I’d like to point out that whitefish and pike are the prime ingredients of the best gefilte fish. What the folks in Plumas County ought to be doing is catching the pike in commercial nets, tossing back the trout and selling the catch to Manischewitz.
