Lancaster Losing Streak Hits 12
San Bernardino handed Lancaster its 12th consecutive loss, 7-5, Wednesday night in front of 3,044 at The Hangar.
Ricky Magdaleno and Mike Marchiano hit two-run home runs in the first inning to give Lancaster (20-46) a 4-3 lead. Marciano had three hits.
San Bernardino is 39-27.

Right-hander Daron Kirkreit has been assigned to Lancaster by the Seattle Mariners.
Kirkreit, a first-round draft choice of the Cleveland Indians in 1993, was acquired from New Hampshire of the independent Atlantic League.
He was a member of the U.S. Olympic team in 1992 after his sophomore season at UC Riverside.
