State Laws
* Re “Newcomers Find Making Laws Is No Easy Task” (March 21) and the statement that the job of the lawmaker is “crafting a bill package”: Sometimes it seems to me we have too many laws; too many small, burdensome laws; reams and reams of paper, pages and pages of laws. Maybe a good legislator should vote against another little law being passed, to go down in history for preventing another silly, small-minded law from further burdening us.
