PLACENTIA
To help mark the state’s sesquicentennial, the Placentia Round Table will present a narrative on a slave’s journey to freedom in 19th century California, April 7 at 1 p.m. The presentation itself is free, but there is a $5 charge for a noontime lunch. Both events will be held at the Round Table’s clubhouse, 901 N. Bradford Ave. Information: (714) 524-8337.
