Retrospective Showcases L.A. Designer
The Los Angeles chapter of the American Society of Interior Designers will present “Design Excellence,” a retrospective of design works by the much-honored Barbara Lockhart, on May 13.
The gala starts at 7 p.m. at the Century Club in Los Angeles, which Lockhart designed.
The festivities include a home tour from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on May 16. The bus tour will visit four Lockhart-designed Beverly Hills estates, plus the new Chasen’s restaurant, including the Private Jockey Club. The day begins with an open house at the Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood, where 30 showrooms will be open.
The gala benefits the ASID/L.A. Scholarship Foundation, the National Cancer Prevention Fund/AMC Cancer Research Center and the Jonsson Comprehensive Cancer Center/UCLA.
Tickets for the gala and tour are $225; gala only, $150; tour only, $75.
