Susan Egan Will Sing in Cabaret Series
Orange County-raised Broadway singer Susan Egan will play the Orange County Performing Arts Center’s Founders Hall for four nights in February as part of the center’s 1999-2000 Cabaret Series.
Egan, a graduate of the Orange County High School of the Arts in Los Alamitos who originated the role of Belle in Disney’s Broadway staging of “Beauty and the Beast,” appears Feb. 17-20. She’s joined on the five-concert series by Leslie Uggams (Nov. 11-14), Linda Eder (Dec. 11, in Segerstrom Hall), Diana Krall (Feb. 11, Segerstrom hall) and Nell Carter (April 6-9). Performances will be in the 299-capacity Founders Hall, except as noted.
Series subscriptions cost $199 and go on sale Aug. 22. Tickets for individual performances will go on sale four to six weeks ahead of each show. Information: (714) 556-2787.
