SEASON AT A GLANCE: With 3,028 yards passing, Zaragoza became the first Kennedy quarterback to crack the 3,000-yard mark. His 34 touchdown passes also is a school record. Zaragoza has completed 225 of 351 passes, with only interceptions. He has rushed for seven touchdowns.
WEEK AT A GLANCE: Zaragoza set a Kennedy record by passing for 442 yards in a startling 69-33 victory over Sylmar in the first round of the City Championship playoffs. Zaragoza completed 21 of 29 passes, with no interceptions. He threw five touchdown passes and also ran for three touchdowns, accounting for 48 points.

SPORT: Tennis
SEASON AT A GLANCE: Linder and Slotnick had a 17-0 match record at No. 1 doubles to help Granada Hills win the City Championship team title. Linder, a left-hander, overcame a sore left biceps that affected her serve in the final. The pair will be the top-seeded team in the City Section individual tournament.
WEEK AT A GLANCE: Linder and Slotnick beat Carson’s Maria Domingo and Lynn Zabala, 6-1, 4-6, 7-5, to clinch the City Championship title for the Highlanders. In the semifinals, they won, 6-1, 6-2, to help Granada Hills beat Hamilton and reach its second consecutive final.
