PLACENTIA
A 17-year-old male bicyclist on his way to work died Thursday morning from injuries suffered in a traffic accident at the intersection of Kraemer Boulevard and Chapman Avenue.
Police said the boy was traveling east on Chapman at 6:13 a.m. when he crossed the intersection against a red light and was struck by a motorist headed north on Kraemer.
The driver of the vehicle was not injured.
Police said the youth was on his way to work. His name was not released, pending notification of relatives.
