Burroughs 31, Glendale 0--Michael Perez rushed for 157 yards and two touchdowns for the Indians (2-2) in a penalty-filled nonleague game at Glendale High.
The Indians won their second game in a row despite 194 yards in penalties.
Glendale (1-3) was also mistake-ridden, racking up 84 yards in penalties.
Burroughs led nearly from start to finish, scoring on a 19-yard pass from Joe Kroells to Keith Jarbo on its first play from scrimmage.
The score was set up when Luswin Bautista recovered a fumble by Noel Abellera of Glendale on the opening kickoff.
Perez scored on a 56-yard run on the second possession for Burroughs and added a 31-yard touchdown run for his team’s final score in the fourth quarter.
Spencer Steward rushed for 67 yards on six carries and Marco Barrios had two carries for 52 yards and two touchdowns for the Indians.
Burroughs finished with 400 yards in offense, including 322 rushing.
Glendale had 291 yards but was hampered by four turnovers.
Quarterback Armen Dembekjian completed 11 of 22 passes for 78 yards and had two passes intercepted.
