THE SAFETY ZONE: ACTION LOG
The Times publishes a daily list of police incident reports provided by local law enforcement agencies. The Times prints items as soon as departments make them available. Because many departments release incident reports only weekly, not every community will be represented in each day’s Action Log. Authorities from the following cities released incident reports Monday:
BREA
* South Brea Boulevard: A theft was reported in the 700 block at 7:05 a.m. Friday.
* Brea Mall: Obscene phone calls were reported in the 2000 block at 1:41 p.m. Friday.
* West Juniper Street: A burglary was reported in the 300 block at 1 p.m. Friday.
* West Central Avenue: A petty theft was reported in the 200 block at 10:11 p.m. Saturday.
CYPRESS
* Blanco Drive: A report of graffiti-vandalism in the 4500 block at 8:49 a.m. Thursday. Vandals using spray paint caused $1,000 in damage to a home.
GARDEN GROVE
* Gilbert Street at Lampson Avenue: A Garden Grove man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and hit-and-run after hitting six parked cars at 9:30 p.m. Sunday.
LAKE FOREST
* Coralita: A reckless driver was reported in the 21000 block at 11:31 p.m. Saturday.
* Lake Forest Drive: A burglary was reported in the 22000 block at 12:16 a.m. Friday.
* Tanoak Lane: A traffic collision occurred in the 25000 block at 11:08 p.m. Friday.
MISSION VIEJO
* La Paz Road: A burglary was reported in the 27000 block at 6:11 p.m. Friday.
* Maximus Street: A reckless driver was reported in the 25000 block at 4:10 p.m. Friday.
* Oso Parkway: A traffic collision occurred in the 25000 block at 8:46 a.m. There were no injuries.
ORANGE
* Buckthorn Lane: A robbery alarm was triggered in the 11000 block at 6:49 a.m. Saturday.
* Meads Avenue: A burglary alarm was triggered in the 10000 block at 1:51 p.m. Saturday.
* Swallow Avenue: A report of reckless driving in the 4000 block at 11:26 p.m. Friday.
PLACENTIA
* Nancita Street: A petty theft was reported in the 1000 block at 12:26 p.m. Friday.
* East Palm Drive: A narcotics violation was reported in the 100 block at 9:47 p.m. Friday.
* Yorba Linda Boulevard and Rose Drive: A report of shots fired was received at 3:42 a.m. Saturday.
SANTA ANA
* Airport Way North: A robbery alarm was triggered in the 19000 block at 8:53 a.m. Sunday.
TUSTIN
* La Colina Drive: A robbery alarm was triggered in the 1000 block at 11:33 p.m. Friday.
* Newport Avenue: A robbery alarm was triggered in the 12000 block at 10:22 p.m. Friday.
* 17th Street and Yorba Street: Report of a reckless driver at 10:46 a.m. Friday.
VILLA PARK
* Mesa Drive: A burglary alarm was triggered in the 19000 block at 2:53 p.m. Friday.
* Charter Road: A burglary alarm was triggered in the 18000 block at 11 a.m. Saturday.
* Center Drive and Pamela Place: Report of a suspicious car at 12:43 a.m. Saturday.
YORBA LINDA
* Yorba Linda Boulevard: A petty theft was reported in the 17000 block at 9:59 p.m. Sunday.
* Ridge Way: A petty theft was reported in the 6000 block at 7:50 a.m. Saturday.
* Piper Place: A petty theft was reported in the 18000 block at 3:38 p.m. Friday.
* Oakcrest Circle: A grand theft was reported in the 22000 block at 1:55 p.m. Friday.
Authorities from the following cities did not release incident reports Monday: Anaheim, Buena Park, Costa Mesa, Dana Point, Fountain Valley, Fullerton, Huntington Beach, Irvine, Laguna Beach, Laguna Hills, Laguna Niguel, Laguna Woods, La Habra, La Palma, Los Alamitos, Newport Beach, San Clemente, San Juan Capistrano, Seal Beach, Stanton and Westminster.
