THE SAFETY ZONE: ACTION LOG

The Times publishes a daily list of police incident reports provided by local law enforcement agencies. The Times prints items as soon as departments make them available. Because many departments release incident reports only weekly, not every community will be represented in each day’s Action Log. Authorities from the following cities released incident reports Wednesday:

BREA

* North Kings Canyon Road: Petty and grand thefts were reported in the 900 block at 6:07 a.m. and 6:54 a.m. Wednesday.

* Brea Mall: A petty theft was reported in the 300 block at 2:46 p.m. Wednesday.

* Brea Mall: A petty theft was reported in the 2000 block at 4:58 p.m. Wednesday.

FULLERTON

* Maxwell Avenue: An auto theft was reported in the 1100 block at 10:07 a.m. Sunday.

GARDEN GROVE

* Valley View Avenue: Police are investigating the robbery and stabbing of a Texaco gas station attendant in the 12000 block at 3:54 a.m. Sunday. The clerk is in serious condition with multiple stab wounds. Anyone with information is asked to call (714) 741-5704.

HUNTINGTON BEACH

* Gothard Street: Report of a fight involving about 30 people at Oceanview High School in the 17000 block at 1:17 a.m. Saturday.

LA HABRA

* South La Habra Drive: An alarm went off in the 1400 block at 4:58 a.m. Monday.

ORANGE

* Orange Avenue: A robbery alarm was triggered in the 8000 block at 10:10 a.m. Sunday.

* Katella Avenue: A burglary alarm was triggered in the 1000 block at 9:10 a.m. Sunday.

PLACENTIA

* East Yorba Linda Boulevard: Possible fired

shots were reported in the 700 block at 2:12 a.m. Wednesday.

* Dartmouth Drive: A burglary was reported in the 500 block at 5:55 a.m. Wednesday.

* North Placentia Avenue: A petty theft was reported in the 1800 block at 1:11 p.m. Wednesday.

SANTA ANA

* Carlsbad Drive: A robbery alarm was triggered in the 13000 block at 7 a.m. Monday.

* Leafwood Lane: A robbery alarm was triggered in the 18000 block at 4:53 p.m. Monday.

TUSTIN

* Weston Place: A burglary alarm was triggered in the 17000 block at 4:54 p.m. Sunday.

VILLA PARK

* Valley Drive: Report of shots heard at 9:05 a.m. Saturday.

* Derek Drive: Report of a prowler in the 18000 block at 4:25 p.m. Sunday.

YORBA LINDA

* Savi Ranch Parkway: A traffic accident involving an injury was reported in the 22000 block at 10:45 a.m. Wednesday.

Authorities from the following cities did not release incident reports Wednesday: Anaheim, Buena Park, Costa Mesa, Cypress, Dana Point, Fountain Valley, Irvine, Laguna Beach, Laguna Hills, Laguna Niguel, Laguna Woods, Lake Forest, La Palma, Los Alamitos, Mission Viejo, Newport Beach, San Clemente, San Juan Capistrano, Seal Beach, Stanton and Westminster.
