Baratte Resigns as Coach of Water Polo at Ventura
Larry Baratte is stepping down as men’s water polo coach at Ventura College after this season, his eighth, to spend more time with his family.
“It got to a certain point where the responsibilities I had in the athletic department were pretty consuming,” Baratte said. “I needed to get a better balance in my life.”
Baratte will continue to teach at Ventura and coach the school’s swimming teams.
