South Coast Medical Center is presenting two health education seminars this week at the hospital. A seminar on eating disorders will be held Thursday at 7 p.m. and will be conducted by psychologist Sarah Steinmeyer and nutritionist Annie Lee. This lecture will focus on the symptoms, causes and treatment options for people with the disorders.
A seminar on osteoporosis will be held Friday at 1 p.m. and will be conducted by specialists Jannet Huang and Janet Gosselin. This lecture will focus on the prevention, detection and treatment of the bone-weakening disease. Both seminars are free and will be held in the hospital’s community room, 31872 South Coast Highway.
