ORANGE
The City Council has approved more than 30 recommendations from a citizens advisory committee for the Orange Plaza Preservation Project in order to preserve and enhance the downtown area.
Some of the renovations include replacing gutters and sidewalks and removing the planters to improve drainage and pedestrian access in the plaza quadrants, retaining and refurbishing the fountain basin and pedestal in the park, and removing seven of the park’s Italian cypress trees and planting four new ones at a different location.
