Proview to Manage 2 Monitor Makers

Proview Technology Inc., an Industry-based maker of computer monitors, said it has assumed management of two other monitor makers, MAG Technology of Irvine and CTX International Inc. in Diamond Bar, in a combination that now ranks them third among the world’s top computer monitor manufacturers, behind Philips Electronics and Samsung. Proview will oversee management of the companies but each will remain autonomous, retaining their own operations including sales forces and brands. By combining resources, the companies hope to leverage their ability to respond more quickly to customer needs, Proview CEO Donald Ruan said. Proview chairman Rowell Yang is a major stockholder in all three. Terms of the arrangement were not disclosed.
