The Orange County Transportation Authority is recruiting members for its Measure M Citizens Oversight Committee. Any resident in the 2nd, 3rd or 4th Supervisorial Districts may apply. The 3rd District includes La Habra.
The committee is made up of county residents who oversee compliance with Measure M--a half-cent sales tax increase approved by voters in 1990. Members are recruited and interviewed by the Grand Jury Assn. of Orange County and serve three-year terms.
