* Michael Slater, senior vice president in the Ventura office of CB Richard Ellis, has been named a top producer in the firm’s annual Achievement Award program. This is the third year he has received the top award for productivity.
Slater specializes in the sale and leasing of office properties. He consistently closes more than 100 transactions a year.
* Attorney Charles W. Cohen has joined the Thousand Oaks office of Weston, Benshoof, Rochefort, Rubalcava & MacCuish LLP as a partner. Cohen and his son, Tom, who is joining the firm as an associate counsel, are opening the firm’s first Ventura County office.
Weston, Benshoof, based in Los Angeles, specializes in land development issues.
* Portrait photographer Joel Bogeberg of Photography by Joel in Thousand Oaks has won two outstanding merit awards from the Professional Photographers of California.
The association promotes public awareness of the profession and works to advance the making of images as an art, science and visual record of history.
* Candace Barry has joined the Oxnard OfficeTeam location as staffing manager. OfficeTeam specializes in placing temporary office and administrative professionals.
Barry has five years’ experience as a customer service and account representative in the finance and banking industries.
