Continuation Schools Program

Re “A Win-Win Situation,” April 2.

I am delighted by this article [about a program in which teenagers from continuation schools read aloud to younger kids]. Not only is it for the benefit of the children being read to, but what a great way to build up the confidence and teach community service to the students involved.

I hope many other schools and community service groups get involved and offer some to help to our overworked teachers.
