Dan Flude had eight kills for host Katella (0-9, 0-4).
In the Garden Grove League:
Garden Grove 3, La Quinta 0--Ed Rodriguez and David Adling had eight kills each for the visiting Argonauts (9-7, 6-1).
Quoc Tran contributed five kills for La Quinta (3-8, 1-6).
In the Golden West League:
Tustin 3, Santa Ana 0--William Diet had 13 kills and five blocks in the 15-2, 15-8, 15-6 victory for host Tustin (11-0, 7-0).
Saddleback 3, Westminster 0--Alejandro Orozco had six kills for host Saddleback (5-5, 4-4), which won, 15-7, 15-6, 15-3.

Whittier Christian 3, Brethren Christian 0--Tim Layton had 25 kills and 11 digs in the 15-5, 15-3, 15-13 victory for Whittier Christian. Christian Florin added 12 kills for the visiting Heralds (9-2, 4-0).
In the Pacific Coast League:
No. 3 Corona del Mar 3, University 0--Greg Stampley had 13 kills for visiting Corona del Mar (6-1, 3-0), which won 15-9, 15-5, 15-4.
In the Sea View League:
No. 1 Irvine 3, Laguna Hills 0--Justin Marayag had 17 assists and three aces for visiting Irvine (9-0, 3-0), which won 15-5, 15-0, 15-3. Kris Kraushaar had seven kills for the Vaqueros.
In the South Coast League:
No. 10 San Clemente 3, Trabuco Hills 0--Grey Garrett and Nick Gardner each had 13 kills in the 15-13, 16-14, 15-8 victory for visiting San Clemente (5-3, 3-1). Dan Talcott had 43 assists for the Tritons, which rallied from a 14-11 second game deficit.
Brett Mandall had 15 kills for Trabuco Hills (1-8, 0-4).
No. 4 El Toro 3, Mission Viejo 1--Jimmy Pelzer had 24 kills and Kyle Martin added 20, as El Toro (7-1, 4-0) rallied from a one-game deficit to win, 13-15, 15-9, 15-7, 16-14.
In the Sunset League:
No. 6 Fountain Valley 3, Edison 0--Tommy Plass had 15 kills and Russell Holmes had eight blocks in the Barons’ 15-6, 15-3, 15-6 victory.
