Five Trojans Out for Spring
Five USC football players, including receiver Kareem Kelly, will miss the rest of spring practice for “various eligibility reasons,” Coach Paul Hackett said Friday.
Kelly, a sophomore who is expected to be USC’s No. 1 receiver next season, will also miss the remainder of the track season. The other players who will sit out the rest of spring are junior linebacker Darryl Knight, senior running back Petros Papadakis, senior safety Danny Bravo and senior wide receiver David Munoz.
“We expect that all these issues will be resolved by the fall and that we’ll have them all back on the field then,” Hackett said.
The Trojans have a scrimmage at the Coliseum today at 1 p.m. and will conclude spring ball April 15.
