Now We Have Readers Arguing With Each Other
Al from Santa Barbara should quit complaining about Tiger Woods coverage. The paper has it right. Al said the Players was one of the more thrilling golf events of the season. Hello? Would it have been as thrilling if you-know-who didn’t put the excitement in it?

In his zeal to correct other’s mistakes, David Dobrowski Jr. [Viewpoint, April 1] writes, among other things, “The Bambino’s real name was Babe Ruth.”
No offense, David, but if you’re going to be clever (or try to be) or an above-average know-it-all, then you should try not to make such blatant mistakes yourself. Since it is obvious you know little about baseball history, I thought I would help you out.
P.S. The Bambino’s real name was George Herman Ruth.
