Redwood trees--Due to incorrect information provided by the Unilever National Parks Survey, the chart “National Parks for Dummies” (Just the Facts, April 23) erroneously stated that redwood trees are the world’s oldest living things. Various plants, including the bristlecone pine, creosote bush and a Tasmanian shrub called King’s holly, have been proposed for that title; redwoods are not in the running.
