Brea Fest, a free evening of music and art, is set for Friday at the Civic and Cultural Center.
The event will feature live entertainment, including musical and dance performances, art demonstrations, face-painting, a gallery exhibit, and activities for kids and families.
Mayor Bev Perry will unearth the city’s 20-year-old time capsule as part of the evening’s activities. Admission and entertainment are free. Food and beverages will be on sale from more than 30 area restaurants and distributors. The festivities run from 7 to 10:30 p.m. at 1 Civic Center Circle. Information: (714) 990-7735.
