Dental Material Firm Makes $1.5-Million Placement
Dental/Medical Diagnostic Systems Inc. in Westlake Village, which makes high-technology dental equipment and tooth-whitening materials, said it has successfully completed a private placement in which it sold almost 1.4 million shares of common stock, plus warrants, for $1.5 million.
The proceeds will be used to support the introduction of a new product, as well as for general working capital.
Dental/Medical Diagnostic Systems’ main products are the Apollo line of devices used for hardening fillings and whitening teeth in the dentist’s office, and a dental digital X-ray system.
