Cal State Fullerton has added a 6-foot-11 center from West Africa to its roster for next season.

Coach Donny Daniels said Babacar Camara, a sophomore from Dakar, Senegal, has enrolled in classes and will be given the final scholarship the program has available this year, provided he passes a physical examination today.

“He will be eligible to play this season, and will give us more size and depth on our front line,” Daniels said. “He will definitely be someone we expect will play a major number of minutes for us.”

Daniels said one of his assistants, Rob Orellana, was responsible for recruiting Camara, who attended Cheickantadiop University in Dakar for one year.
