GIRLS’ BASKETBALL ROUNDUP
Harvard-Westlake 64, Chaminade 42--L’Tanya Robnett had 20 points and seven rebounds, and Brooke Porter scored 17 points for host Harvard-Westlake (17-6, 6-1) in a Mission League game.
Porter also had five steals and Chantal Kazai contributed 10 points and three blocked shots to the victory.
Julie Cichon had 15 points and Christina Zdenek scored 13 for Chaminade (9-10, 2-5).
Santa Paula 80, Calabasas 41--Sarah Ruiz and Sarah Kolbeck combined for 60 of the Cardinals’ points in a Frontier League victory at Calabasas.
Ruiz made six three-point baskets and finished with 34 points, and Kolbeck had 26 points and 19 rebounds for Santa Paula (17-6, 6-0).
Oak Park 67, Fillmore 35--Michelle Bregar had 30 points and eight rebounds, and Holly Stewart added 12 points and 10 rebounds for the Eagles (12-7, 6-1) in a Tri-Valley League victory at Oak Park.
Carpinteria 60, La Reina 50--Lindsay Mettam scored 18 points for the host Regents, but they couldn’t keep pace with Carpinteria in the second half of the Tri-Valley League game.
La Reina (2-13, 0-7) led, 28-26, at halftime, but Carpinteria (13-7, 6-1) outscored the Regents by 10 in the third quarter.
Saugus 54, Burbank 41--Brusta Brown scored a career-high 29 points and had eight steals for the Centurions (10-11, 4-3) in a Foothill League victory at Saugus.
Montclair Prep 54, Brentwood 45--Eshaya Murphy scored 27 of her 33 points in the second half, and the Mounties (15-6, 3-4) rallied from a five-point halftime deficit for a Delphic League victory at Montclair Prep.
Murphy also had 16 rebounds, seven steals and four blocked shots for the Mounties, who outscored Brentwood (12-8, 4-3), 18-5, in the third quarter.
