Macy Gray a Hit in the Southland
Macy Gray, a critical favorite and now a Grammy nominee for best new artist, is finally showing some commercial momentum, at least in her home base of Los Angeles. The singer’s debut album of classic-mold R&B; is just No. 32 nationally, but it squeaked into the Top 10 on the Southern California album chart last week.
