The city will host a series of public workshops this month to obtain feedback on the city’s franchise with Comcast Cablevision. The workshops will be Tuesday, Feb. 16 and 17, from 7 to 9 p.m. in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 303 W. Commonwealth Ave.

Gregory Robinson, director of the Social Science Research Center at Cal State Fullerton, will conduct the workshops. City and Comcast officials will be on hand to answer questions. The city is renegotiating its franchise contract with Comcast. The comments will be used in assessing Comcast’s performance and the city’s future telecommunications needs. Information: (714) 738-6532.
