CityWalk Seeks 570 Workers at Job Fair
Employers at Universal Studios CityWalk hope to find applicants for 570 full- and part-time positions at a job fair Saturday.
With the opening of the expanded shopping center in April, 34 new food, entertainment and retail stores will need cashiers, cooks and artists.
Job seekers 16 or older may interview with more than one employer at the fair, dubbed “The Really Big Job Thing,” from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the CityWalk, 1000 Universal Center Drive, Universal City.
Among the potential employers are Jillian’s Hi-Life Lanes, a bowling alley; and Tu Tu Tango, a restaurant that sells original paintings on its walls to customers and gives the proceeds to the artists, said Universal spokeswoman Monica Hathaway.
Applicants should bring their work history and contact information for references, Hathaway said.
