PLACENTIA
The Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified school board last week approved the district’s summer school programs for the first through 12th grades. Eight elementary schools will provide remedial instruction for at-risk students in the first through fifth grades.
Two high schools and two middle schools will offer courses to sixth- to 12th-grade students who do not meet minimal district proficiencies, or for non-graduating seniors who need to complete their high school education.
