SANTA ANA
The City Council will meet Tuesday to consider a resolution opposing Measure F, the anti-airport initiative on the March 7 ballot. If approved it would require a two-thirds vote before airports, jails or landfills could be built. Council Members Lisa Bist and Brett Franklin placed the item on the agenda stating that the new law would limit the building of jails and cause overcrowding in Santa Ana facilities. The council meets at 6:15 p.m. in the Police Community Room, 60 Civic Center Plaza. Information: (714) 647-5238.
