* CAL POLY SAN LUIS OBISPO (5-6) AT CAL STATE NORTHRIDGE (7-3), 4--The Matadors will try to avenge a 97-88 overtime loss on Dec. 4 at Cal Poly in which the Mustangs attempted 34 more free throws to compile a 36-9 scoring advantage from the line. Northridge was called for 33 fouls--to Cal Poly’s 17--and had four players foul out. Both teams are led in scoring by centers, with Northridge’s Brian Heinle getting 15.5 points a game and Cal Poly’s Chris Bjorklund averaging 22.6. Bjorklund had 30 points in the first game against Northridge.
