Internet Service Providers ISWest, Infospec to Merge

Internet Specialties West, an Internet service provider in Ventura and Los Angeles counties, is merging with Infospec of Thousand Oaks, also an Internet service provider.

Infospec was formerly known as ADNETSOL.

Both management teams said the merger will result in a better company for customer service, network speed and reliability. This merger will also reduce Infospec’s overhead by 40%, officials said.

This marks the fourth such merger for Westlake Village-based ISWest since 1998. Terms of the merger were not disclosed.

“With yet another merger under our belt, this continues to show that ISWest is the leading Internet service provider in Los Angeles and Ventura County,” said Drew J. Kaplan, vice president and director of sales and marketing. “Each and every customer will be contacted prior to any changes being made to their service.”
