Tamika Williams had 24 points, seven rebounds and made two key defensive plays in the final minutes to lead No. 1 Connecticut (18-0, 7-0) to an 84-77 Big East Conference victory over No. 19 Boston College (16-4, 5-1) at Storrs, Conn., ending the Eagles’ school-record 12-game winning streak.

Ruth Riley scored 12 of her 16 points in the second half and No. 5 Notre Dame (16-2, 7-0) extended its winning streak to 12 games with a 69-49 Big East victory over St. John’s (6-12, 1-7) at New York. . . .
