VILLA PARK
The City Council on Tuesday rejected an ordinance that would have extended shopping hours from 10:30 p.m. to midnight at the Villa Park Shopping Center.
Ralphs requested the change because some customers wanted longer store hours. The city received a petition and responses from more than 10 residents urging the council not to change the hours.
