The Fire Department is asking residents to have a safe Fourth of July celebration by using only legal fireworks today. “The easiest way to determine if your fireworks are safe and sane is to look for the State Fire Marshal seal on every piece,” said Fire Marshal Jerry Halberstadt. “Another way to tell is, if it flies through the air, across the ground, or explodes, it is illegal in the state of California.” Information: (714) 741-5600.
