Flags will be flown at half-mast in Leisure World to memorialize Sheriff’s Deputy Steve Parsons, a motorcycle officer who was fatally injured late last month, Golden Rain Foundation President Bob Ring has announced.
Ring is encouraging residents to contribute to the Orange County Sheriff’s Department’s memorial fund to benefit the Parsons family. Donations can be mailed to Assn. of Orange County Deputy Sheriffs, 1314 W. 5th St., Santa Ana, CA 92703.
