THE SAFETY ZONE: ACTION LOG
The Times publishes a daily list of police incident reports provided by local law enforcement agencies. The Times prints items as soon as departments make them available. Because many departments release incident reports only weekly, not every community will be represented in each day’s Action Log. Authorities from the following cities released incident reports Wednesday:
ANAHEIM
* Cymbal Street: A burglary was reported in the 6400 block at 3:11 p.m. Wednesday.
BREA
* East Moorpark Drive: A grand theft was reported in the 1800 block at 6:10 a.m. Tuesday.
* East Imperial Highway: Ralphs reported a forged check at 11:38 a.m. Tuesday.
* Stony Lane: A theft was reported in the 2300 block at 5:52 p.m. Tuesday.
DANA POINT
* Street of the Blue Lantern: A man reported another man attacked him with pepper spray and took his backpack in the 34000 block at 6 p.m. Sunday.
* Corniche Drive: A woman reported her stereo was stolen from her unlocked car at 11 p.m. Monday.
* Doheny Park Road: Deputies resolved a dispute between a gas station attendant and a customer in the 34000 block at 7 a.m. Monday.
LAGUNA BEACH
* Bluff Drive: A woman reported receiving annoying phone calls for the last two months in the 31000 block at 10:07 a.m. Monday.
* South Coast Highway: Police arrested a 16-year-old boy and a 15-year-old boy on suspicion of shooting a BB gun at a woman at Forest Avenue at 11:01 p.m. Tuesday. The teens were later released.
LAGUNA HILLS
* Bentley Lane: A juvenile was reported missing in the 25300 block at 12:06 a.m. Wednesday.
* Alicia: A burglar alarm went off in the 24700 block at 10:45 p.m. Tuesday.
* Buckboard Lane: A burglar alarm went off in the 24800 block at 11:35 p.m. Tuesday.
* Caminito Arroyo Seco: A burglar alarm went off in the 22300 block at 1:27 p.m. Tuesday.
LAGUNA WOODS
* Avenida del Sol: A burglary alarm went off in the 5000 block at 2:24 p.m. Sunday.
* Buena Vista Street: Deputies investigated a dead body in the 3200 block at 11:54 p.m. Saturday.
LAKE FOREST
* Arden Street: A reckless driver was reported in the 25200 block at 8:31 p.m. Monday.
* Cavanaugh Road: A suspicious person was reported in the 23300 block at 11:20 a.m. Monday.
MISSION VIEJO
* Jeronimo Road: Vandalism was reported in the 25700 block at 1:14 p.m. Monday.
PLACENTIA
* North Angelina Drive: Structure fire at old Kraemer House. Witnesses were contacted and an arson report was taken at 2:42 p.m. Tuesday.
* Coleman Place: People were having a loud party in the 400 block at 12:27 a.m. Tuesday.
* West La Jolla Street: Juveniles in parking lot were drinking beer. They were told to leave but they refused at 3:15 p.m. Tuesday.
RANCHO SANTA
MARGARITA
* Avenida de las Flores: A vehicle was reported stolen in the 30400 block at 9:06 a.m. Monday.
* Joshua Drive: A child was reported missing in the 31800 block at 12:33 p.m. Monday.
SAN CLEMENTE
* Avenida San Diego: A man was arrested on suspicion of public drunkenness after he reportedly caused a disturbance in the 100 block at 1:15 p.m. Sunday.
* Via Pimpollo: A man reported a neighbor’s water balloons damaged his residence in the 1900 block at 6:50 p.m. Sunday.
STANTON
* Cerritos Avenue: Lost property was reported in the 8600 block at 1:47 p.m. Wednesday.
* Cerritos Avenue: A missing juvenile was reported in the 8600 block at 11:25 a.m. Wednesday.
TUSTIN
* Norwood Park Place: A burglary was reported in the 18000 block at 4:27 a.m. Wednesday.
* Impala Drive: An abandoned vehicle was found in the 18200 block at 2:42 p.m. Monday.
YORBA LINDA
* Casa Loma Avenue: Malicious mischief was reported in the 4700 block at 8:54 p.m. Tuesday.
* Grandview Avenue: Malicious mischief was reported in the 5500 block at 7:06 a.m. Tuesday.
Authorities from the following cities did not release incident reports: Buena Park, Costa Mesa, Cypress, Fountain Valley, Fullerton, Garden Grove, Huntington Beach, Irvine, La Habra, La Palma, Los Alamitos, Newport Beach, Orange, Santa Ana, Seal Beach and Westminster.
The Orange County Sheriff’s Department makes incident reports available on the Web. Go to https://www.ocsd.org and click on “Sheriff’s Blotter.” Incident reports are updated every few minutes and cover the cities of Dana Point, Laguna Hills, Laguna Niguel, Laguna Woods, Lake Forest, Mission Viejo, Rancho Santa Margarita, San Clemente, San Juan Capistrano, Stanton and Villa Park, as well as the county’s unincorporated areas.
