Minnesota Catches a Rare Summer Cold

EMBARRASS, Minn. — It felt like fall in northern Minnesota on Wednesday as temperatures dipped into the 30s, and in one case the 20s, overnight.
In Embarrass, the National Weather Service recorded a low of 31 degrees Wednesday morning. Tower reported a low of 29 degrees.
According to the State Climatology Office, the average low for the region this time of year is 51 and the average high is 79.
