Falun Gong Protests Held on Anniversary

Police broke up Falun Gong protests today, punching demonstrators and dragging them into vans on the first anniversary of the government’s crackdown on the meditation group. About 90 people were rounded up in Beijing’s Tiananmen Square. China has branded Falun Gong, a blend of exercise and meditation, a threat to Communist rule.
