The Planning Commission has scheduled a Mondy public study session on the Irvine Co.’s plan to build as many as 1,900 houses and 25 acres of retail businesses on 518 undeveloped acres east of Jamboree Road and south of Irvine Regional Park.

The commission will meet at 5:30 p.m. at Orange City Hall, 300 E. Chapman Ave.

The City Council will meet to study the proposal at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at City Hall.
